Event Recap: Creative Curating Hosted by Va$htie Kola

Last night, June 23rd, the 12th Disciples put on the fashion show “Creative Curating” hosted by Va$htie Kola. The event was held at the Defoor Center, as brands such as Kreemo, La Vita, and House of Adrene showcased their lines, and artist such as Supreme I.N.K., Weapons of Audio, Keith Charles, and J Coop showcased their music. 12th Disciples provided a quality platform to showcase some of the talent Altanta has to offer.

Throughout the show, Va$htie asked for volunteers from the crowd to come on stage and perform their talents. PEER*D’s own RO.A took the stage, but instead of rapping he decided to perform the Bugs Bunny dance and then exit the stage. BMX rider Beesy B also came through repping PEER*D as we were able to network and meet some new people. The important part of the event is that we were able to hand deliver Va$htie a PEER*D gift bag. In all the event was a lot of fun and we look forward to attending similar events in the future.

Event Recap: House of Hoops Atlanta Grand Opening

Yesterday, June 21, was the Grand Opening of the first House of Hoops in Atlanta at Southlake Mall. The event was hosted by DJ Greg Street and focused on the Nike campaign “Take Every Advantage.” They started with a discussion of the technology behind the exclusive PEACH JAM Hyperfuse low. Local student athletes were also interviewed by Greg Street to highlight the many ways that they take every advantage on the basketball court, the classroom, and in the community. The event ended with an interview with Josh Powell, a member of the Atlanta Hawks. Check out some pictures from the event.

Do You Love Adidas Event – 7.1.11

The Do You Love Adidas Event will be taking place this year at The Venue ATL on July 1, 2011. Kick off Independence weekend by hanging with the PEER*D Crew and enjoying some performances, including one by Bessy B.
