Once again, the end of the year is a good time to reflect on the past to see all the things that have transgressed in a years time. PEER*D Clothing managed to have another successful year. It got off to a fast start as we were able to get fashion icon Teyana Taylor and Grammy nominated song writer K. Briscoe in a PEER*D shirt. From there we managed to make our way on the silver screen as Short Dawg of Young Money rocked our White/Black silhouette tee on stage during a performance of “Bedrock” on MTV’s annual Spring Break specials. Next, we attended Johnny Cupcakes’ Suitcase Tour and got to speak to Johnny Cupcakes personally. He is someone that we here at PEER*D look to emulate, and him recognizing our brand was a boost of confidence. In August, our sponsored artist RO.A dropped his debut mixtape “Lowkey Famous.” (if you haven’t heard this yet you can check it out at datpiff. I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed). Lastly, we closed out the year on the event standpoint, with a feature in TQ Branding’s “The Show.” This event was outstanding, as we networked and forged some good relationships.
From the product and release side, we released the Red/White silhouette tee and our slogan tee “Shoes Fly Don’t Bother Me” in August (which was featured on TheShoeGame.com). Then October saw the release of our Frankenstein mask sweatshirts. Be on the lookout for news and information on upcoming releases from PEER*D as continue to establish our brand and expand our business. We are entering the new year with a renewed focus and determination. 2010 was a good year, and we plan on making 2011 GREAT!
HAPPY NEW YEARS FROM THE PEER*D FAMILY!!
and remember to remain PERFECTLY WEIRD,
Derick B.
